Took these photos at our most favorite place, Bean Point AMI. June 2013. My son, such a handsome man he has become.
Bridal Portraits - Dawn
Bridal Portraits are one of my favorite moments to capture. It's a time to have fun and look forward to the wedding day ahead. Focused completely on the "Bride to Be". Yesterday I had the honor of capturing these images for my daughter's sister in law. She will be married in April and what a beautiful Bride she will be. The following are some of my favorites from the day.
Reenie and Tom
Young Love! I love to photograph couples who are so obviously in love! Reenie has been my hair stylist for almost 12 years! She has been cutting my husbands hair for much longer. I invited her and her beau Tom over to do an afternoon photo shoot at my house. We had so much fun! And I am so happy that her and Tom have found each other!
Christmas Al Fresco - Florida Style
This Christmas I decided to make one of those "naked" cakes I've been hearing so much about. I used a Duncan Hines Red Velvet box cake mix and added 3 eggs, 1 box of vanilla instant pudding, 1 cup of oil 1 1/4 cup of milk and 1 tbsp. of self rising flower. (This is the same thing I do for my Hershey bar cupcakes! with Devils food cake mix). The icing is made from granular sugar, powdered sugar and softened cream cheese. I added whole pecans in the middle of each layer (and sliced strawberries), then on the top I garnished with 3 whole strawberries and pounded pecans. YUM!! YUM! The table décor came from items we found around the area. Branches from my Crepe Myrtle trees, found pine cones, and berry branches from a local invasive plant.
