Christmas Al Fresco - Florida Style

This Christmas I decided to make one of those "naked" cakes I've been hearing so much about.  I used a Duncan Hines Red Velvet box cake mix and added 3 eggs, 1 box of vanilla instant pudding, 1 cup of oil 1 1/4 cup of milk and 1 tbsp. of self rising flower.  (This is the same thing I do for my Hershey bar cupcakes! with Devils food cake mix).  The icing is made from granular sugar, powdered sugar and softened cream cheese. I added whole pecans in the middle of each layer (and sliced strawberries), then on the top I garnished with 3 whole strawberries and pounded pecans.  YUM!! YUM! The table décor came from items we found around the area.  Branches from my Crepe Myrtle trees, found pine cones, and berry branches from a local invasive plant.
